Offline Alerting

Introduction

Insights has introduced a unique feature called Offline Alerting which allows you to monitor the metrics and data available inside Insights System. It helps you to monitor the incoming metrics data and set up your alerting system to watch for specific events and accordingly send notifications.

Offline Alerting helps you to create an alert on Insights dashboard panels and trigger an email whenever the requested metric crosses threshold value at a defined frequency. It allows you to schedule an alert at a specified date & time. In this way, you could eliminate the need for manual monitoring and provide a first line of defense against system outage or changes that could turn into major incidents.
