Looking to setup Elastic Search Data Source?

Under this section, you will know how to setup an Elastic Search Data Source for your Dashboards.

On this page:



Enter the name of the Data Source.

  • Enter an appropriate name of the Data Source.
  • Select "Default" if required.

Select the Type.

  • Select the type of the Data Source as "Elastic search".

Enter HTTP settings.

  • Enter the URL.
  • Select Access type ((info)There are two types of Access Types : Direct and Proxy).
  • Select HTTP Authentication (if required).

Enter Elastic search details.

  • Enter the Index name.
  • Select the pattern type.
  • Enter the Time field name.
  • Select the version.


Elastic Search configuration

Enter the Default Query Settings (optional).

Click “Save & Test”.


List and description of the Item Names:

Item Name

Description

Name

Represents the name of the Data source. You can give the Data source your desired name.

Default

Select Default if Data Source is pre-selected in new panel.

Type

Denotes the type of the Data source. Select the type as “Elastic search”.

URL

Enter the HTTP settings.

  • Enter the URL.

Eg: http://10.155.143.184:9200

  • Select the Access type.

Eg: Direct or Proxy

  • Select/De-select HTTP Authentication (optional).

Eg: If Authentication is selected, Enter the username and password.

Access

Enter Elastic search Details.

  • Enter the Index name.

Eg: neo4j-index-node

  • Select the pattern type.
  • Enter the Time field name.

Eg: inSightsTimeX

  • Select the version.

Eg: 1.x or 2.x

HTTP Authentication

Enter the Default Query Settings (optional).

Index Name

Click “Save & Test”.

Pattern
Time field name
Version
Group by time interval
Save & Test
Delete
