Create You Organisational Channel

This Section will explain about Creating a Channel for your team

Creating or Joining to a team with Chat Adapters


 Slack
  1. Visit the workspace creation page: slack.com/create.
  2. Enter an email address and Register yourself
  3. Select a display name, password, and workspace name.
 Hipchat
  1. Visit the account creation page: hipchat.com/signup
  2. Enter name and email address and click continue
  3. Click create a new team to create one. There are options to join existing team also
  4. Give the team name and click Name my team
  5. Teammates can be invited by typing their email address. This step can be skipped, invites can also be sent after the team is created
  6. That’s it once done page will be redirected to the team home page
 Mattermost
  1. Signup to your mattermost server and create a team (Refer this mattermost documentation for creating team).

  2. Create public channels for chatting with the bots (Refer mattermost docs here)

    .Inside your team, you may create a new channel or use the existing channels (Town-square and Off-topic). Bots will work only with public channel since configurations like webhooks etc. can only be done for public channels in mattermost
