Guidelines for provisioning Cognizant® Cloud Acceleration Platform Insights from Microsoft Azure Marketplace

Cognizant® Cloud Acceleration Platform Insights is available in Microsoft Azure Marketplace for customers to spin up Insights inside virtual machines (RHEL). Detailed below are the steps involved.

Step 1: Search for Cognizant® Cloud Acceleration Platform Insights (Cognizant OneDevOps Insights) in marketplace and click on Create.

Step 2: Choose your subscription and enter details for Username and Password for the machine, passwords for various components of Insights like PostGreSQL and RabbitMQ.

Step 3: Review and Confirm.

Step 4:  Check the terms and conditions and proceed for creation.

Step 5: You will be redirected to your Azure Console and will be provided with the updates of your deployment.

Step 6: Once the deployment is successful, you may login to the servers and install additional components as needed and configure Cognizant® Cloud Acceleration Platform Insights. At this stage, you should be able to access Insights application on your IP as http://<IP of Server 1>:8080/app and login using default credentials (admin for uname and password). After provisioning the Neo4j server on the second server (manually), you need to configure Insights as mentioned in our confluence page - Installation Section to get started with agent setup and data collection.

Important Note:

  1. In order to complete the installation, you need to download and configure Neo4j database on virtual machine 2. Please refer to our installation page for more details.

  2. Review your security group for the 2 virtual machines that have been created. You may change the incoming and outgoing traffic rules as per your subscriptions network policy.
